New Westminster Chiropractor Dr. John Dang founded The Columbia Integrated Health Centre (CIHC) based on the vision that the future of health and wellness is dependent upon the combined efforts of both patient and therapist. It is the role of the health care team through knowledge, skill, and compassion, to assess, diagnose, and treat the patient in the acute phase. However, optimum health and wellness for longevity is achieved through education and empowering the patient to take control of their own rehabilitation. Only then will the patient possess the understanding that to be truly well, one must be proactive and not reactive. Proper exercise, nutrition, diet, and the continuous balance of the mind, body, and soul are fundamental in maintaining proper health.
