Acupuncture:

Columbia Integrated Health Centre is excited to provide acupuncture services to patients in the downtown New Westminster area along Columbia Street and surrounding communities such as Queensborough, Burnaby, Coquitlam, Surrey, & Vancouver.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has identified specific conditions that have been proven particularly effective with Acupuncture & TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine): postoperative pain, nausea and vomiting, dental pain, anxiety, panic disorders and insomnia. As well, TCM and Acupuncture have been shown to be successful in treating conditions of gynecology, gastroenterology, neurology, low back pain, arthritis, injuries and musculo-skeletal disorders, headaches & migraines, stress, addictions, immune system disorders, respiratory system disorders, depression, and allergies. This is not an exclusive list, but does give some indications of Acupuncture's & TCM's efficacy in the treatment of a whole myriad of symptoms and diseases. Acupuncture & TCM can also be used to maintain optimal health in the absence of illness.
